STEP 1: Create a project using OCF
Access the OCF portal of your hosting island or the central OCF portal at: https://ocf.fibre.org.br
In the login screen, use as username “login@organization“.
After login, click in “Create” button to request a new project.
Only the NOC administrators have authorization to create projects. All users must submit their request and await for approval. So, do not worry with the “Permission Denied” message. Fill the form to request your project.After that, your project request will be sent to the NOC administrator.
Once your project is approved by the NOC, you will receive an email notifying about the approval.
After your project has been approved, notice that the project is already accessible in your Dashboard.
STEP 2: Perform your experiment
On your dashboard, you can see your project created. Now, you can start configuring your experiment.
To do this, click on the button “view” located in the column Actions, next to the project name.
Click on the button “Add Aggregates” to add aggregates to the project.
A list of Aggregates, from several FIBRE islands will be displayed.
Click on the button “Select” in the column “Actions” to add the respective Aggregate in the project. After each click, the selected Aggregate leaves this list.
Click on the button “Done” to finish.
Notice that the project is already showing the Aggregate Managers added in your project.
Once you have selected the Aggregate Managers, the next step is to reserve testbed resources for your experiment. To do this, click on the button “Create Slice“.
To describe your Slice, fill up the form and click on the button “Save” to finish.
Now, you need to add the Aggregate Managers (previously selected in your project) to use them in your slice.
To this, click on the button “Add an Aggregate Manager to the current slice“.
Click on the button “Select” in the column “Actions” to add the respective aggregate in the project.
After each click, the aggregate leaves this list. Click on the button “Done” to finish.
Notice that the project is already showing the topology and details about aggregate managers added in your project.
Now, you can configure Network resources and Computational resources to your experiment on each Aggregate Manager selected.
